8:17pm: Awkward Dinner Conversations
1. My dad asking my MIT graduating sister if she did pot in hs. she said no (DUH, like any of us would?!) and he preceeded to tell us that he found pot in the bathroom. ::eye shift::

2. apparently, my mom enjoys the taste of alcohol a lot and my dad enjoys the competition of it. ::more eye shifting::

and not awkward, but just kind of amusing: did you know facebook was an actual book? o.O my sister ridiculed me on this fact for like, 30 minutes.

the last couple of weeks socially have been awesomely perfect. you know that song, soco amaretto lime by brand new? that kind of sums up how i feel right now.

boo, too bad school work (and uhm. the fact that i might be failing physics) gets in the way.
ah well. glad to be home for spring break FINALLY after a freak storm. i'm ready to pass out for a week straight and just chill in my pjs.

it's going to be awesome.
i wish i had photoshop at home. i could give my xanga and livejournal a much needed facelift.

sigh. when july turns into august, i'm gonna kill myself. i'll definitely have to get my ass in gear and be productive with my days. blahhh.

i wish i had a pool. or knew someone with a pool. who would invite me over. teehee. though, i might go swimming over lyss's after work friday! yay! :) that is, if it's doesn't thunder/rain (booo!) but lyss said we can do whateverrrrrr if it rains. pwahaha :)

I passed my hspas :) i know, we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

ahh just got back from lyss's. was very fun! chilled with lyss (of course) and juliet.
we made sushi. and lots of it. oy, i'm so full i might die.
might i say, for a bunch of novices (lyss and moi) we did a good job :D juliet was a good teacher. ;)

plus, i've got gossip: have you HEARD about those two girls, juliet and barbara? one's a white asian and the other is a twinkie. they have syphillis and went crazy with smelly feet.

6:56pm: Kmart
Today was a hectic morning. blah. Woke up: got bitched at by mom to go to kmart.
went to kmart, picked up drug test papers.
went to school, picked up working papers.
went to hospital to take drug test but found out that i was in the wrong place. called lyss to find out it was the place across from the hospital.

the lady was REALLY mad that I kept messing up on my drug test. "You're not supposed to sign this. You have to sign it in front of me at this specific time" "you flushed the toilet. you're not supposed to flush the toilet. i told you not to flush the toilet"

jeeeeez. i couldn't even fake my test if i tried. --; strange, but oh well.
it's a good thing i didn't do crack first thign in the morning ;)

anyhoo. so yeah. after i get everything done, i'll be employed at kmart :D (glamourous, i know) :P

i hate peeing in a cup.

8:18pm: So. Bored and trying to resist sleep (because I'm pretty sure only ppl over the age of 90 go to bed before 8 on a friday) I read my old lj entries. Lame. I've realized that I only write in here when I'm poed. So instead, I'll write something happy for a change.

Today was Babs's Big Adventure into the City!

- Woke up later than usual but still heinously early (6:30) to catch bus to city
-Interviewed at Firmenich. I really really think I'll love it there. Hope they like me too.
-Walked a bajillion blocks to the china consulate to get a visa (and to get yelled at by the clerk there for not knowing chinese)
-Walked a bajillion blocks back to the subway to meet up with dad.
-Ate Minado. Which, in case you didn't know, is a buffet of seafood and sushi. Needless to say, I was determined to earn the 15 dollar lunch price.
Alas, Minado beat me again and I was so stuffed after 1.5 plates that I wanted to throw up. --;
-Went back to dad's office to help him with stuff
-Rode the bus back home and returned to air conditioning at 6

Sunday's Agenda: Hardcore studying for calc final and chem final. oy.

STEP ONE
